We are actively committed to climate management and use our carbon footprint to set goals and reduce emissions

Our Carbon Footprint

A company’s greenhouse gas emissions are divided into three categories, known as scopes, in a carbon footprint assessment.

Scope 1 covers all direct emissions generated within the company itself, such as those resulting from the use of company-owned vehicles or heating systems.

Scope 2 includes indirect emissions from purchased energy, particularly electricity. Since we purchase only certified green electricity, no emissions are generated in this area under the market-based approach.

Scope 3 encompasses all other indirect emissions along the value chain, such as external transportation services or waste disposal.

In 2025, the CDS Group generated a total of approximately 429 metric tons of CO₂e.

Wie wir unsere Emissionen senken

What we've already done

  • Installation of a solar power system
  • Route-optimized scheduling
  • Replacement of roll-up doors with thermally insulated roll-up doors

What we're currently working on

  • Gradually transitioning our fleet to lower-emission vehicles, such as electric cars
  • Switching to green electricity
  • Installing a new heating system using an air-source heat pump and expanding our solar power system
  • Continuously updating our carbon footprint to track our progress
