My device is no longer covered under warranty. I have problems with my device and need technical support!

Please understand that we cannot give out information without a written request. If your device is out of warranty and you need a repair service, please click here to register for a repair.

 

How does a repair work within the CDS Repair Centre?

If you have given us approval for a repair, the advantage is that we can fix the problem immediately after it was identified. This makes it easier and speeds up the process.

If you need an estimate of cost up front, you will receive a flat-charge for the detailed analysis of defects together with cost estimate for the repair.
The flat-charge invoice must be paid in advance.

After payment is received, CDS will generate the cost estimate immediately and send it to you.

If the repair is approved, the cost of the estimate will be deducted from the repair invoice.

Promptly after the repair takes place, you will receive a message containing the invoice amount. As soon as we have received the payment, we will return the device immediately.

What to keep in mind when sending in the device?

The device to be repaired will be sent in at your expense. The sender bears the risk of loss or damages of the device during transportation.

Please do not include any accessories (such as handbook, driver unit, paper holder, cables, etc.) or consumable items with your device. Accessories which were added to the device, cannot be claimed nor returned because of organizational reasons.

Also, we ask you to remove every option (if not defective) before sending in your device and to secure it according to the handbook.

I don't have any packaging material, can I request a pick-up of the device without packaging?

Yes. Please inform us when filling the Repair register form if a pick-up from CDS is desired. We guarantee a safe transport of unpacked goods.

How long can I expect the repair to take?

The expected time of repair in the CDS Repair Centre (Send in & Return), if appropriate spare parts are available, lays currently within 5 workdays excluding 1-2 days of shipping.

If you require our on-site service, we offer standard service (within 5 workdays), or premium service (following workday).

How do I inquire about the state of my repair?

Our Repair-Service-Team is available Mondays through Fridays from 8:00-12:00 and 13:00-17:00.
