One donation behind every door


Lage (Lippe), 29.01.2021. Since 2018, the CDS Group has offered its partners and customers an Advent calendar in the run-up to Christmas. In 2020, instead of prizes, donations were raffled off. The winners could then decide to which organisation CDS would donate the sum of €4,000.

2020 showed us vividly the impact crises can have on our world and how important cohesion and team play are to overcome challenges. For this reason, CDS has decided to turn the advent calendar into a fundraising campaign and invite its customers and partners to do something good together.

The CDS Advent calendar has become almost a tradition and is well accepted by partners and customers every year. Almost 400 people have registered. Every day in December until Christmas Eve, little calendar doors could be opened. Each day, different donation amounts were hidden behind the doors. There were 18 organisations to choose from that are concerned with worldwide problems such as children in need, humanitarian aid and nature and animal protection.

Donations were made to the Bundesverband Kinderhospiz (€1000), Kinderherzen (€650), Doctors Without Borders (€550), SOS Children's Villages (€400), WWF (€400), NABU (€350), WorldVision (€300), OXFAM (€150), BUND (€100) and Viva con Agua (€100).
